Another crazy hike for fans. We started from Tashkent about 4AM to reach Chimgan village before the dawn. It’s a radial track. Our way ran over Pesochny mountain pass. Then visit to the “Fridge”, “Foggy” mountain pass and the “Gates”. The aim was to climb Ohotnichy peak. And of course to return back to our bus. This day we made more then 26 km and got an altitude gain about 2166m. Way back was several hours in the full darkness with the lights on our heads only, sometimes in the snow. The way in the darkness seems endless especially at the end of long day. You go and go and can’t see a finish. Ohotnichy climbing is a real challenge.
